A Charleston native and a full-service charter captain with a lifetime of experience on South Carolina’s coastal waters. He has an extensive knowledge of the Lowcountry’s fisheries, history, and wildlife, from the Broad River in Beaufort onward to Bull’s Bay and Mclellanville. Acquiring his Captain’s license at the age of 17, Capt. Long has spent the last half-decade guiding in the Charleston area, learning the preferences and rituals of the local gamefish, while obtaining a business degree from the College of Charleston.

Capt. Long has fished competitively in Southern Kingfish Association and FLW tournaments since the age of 10, with habitual top ten finishes. The Captain’s familiarity with the ocean ensures that you will enjoy a safe and productive fishing, sightseeing, or custom charter.
